The ebony fingerboard and alder body keep the mids tight, ensuring that every note retains its definition. The neck, crafted from well-aged flamed maple, feels warm and supple in the hand, whilst the Sweet-V profile guides the thumb. The ‘Roadie ageing’ process makes the nitrocellulose lacquer so dry and grippy that it feels as though this instrument has already endured an eternity on stage. Weighing in at 3.40 kilograms, the Daliah sits steadily on the strap, and the tremolo can be finely controlled, ranging from a gentle glide to a deep, sustained drop in pitch.
