The Ginsberg from Silkwood. Super, super light and comfortable. Yet with such richness and clarity of tone. Basically kept very simple. You just have to get it right. Visually, in terms of build quality, and in every respect. (…) It’s my band guitar and always will be. I play the full repertoire on it, with a whole host of fundamentally different sounds. Crystal-clear and sparkling with or without effects, funky, crunchy right through to full-on power. Singing lead tones at all gain levels. Warm or biting. Whatever I need, it delivers beautifully. The strings glide smoothly through the finely finished bone nut, following every movement and remaining reliably in tune.
Compound Fretboard Radius
The Compound Fretboard Radius follows the natural contours of the hand. From the gently rounded nut right through to the flatter sections near the body, its shape changes very gradually – for a playing feel that is light, familiar and natural.
