Hemingway Surfin‘ Green over Black Paisley
Like a summer by the sea, the luminous ‘Surfin’ Green’ finish winds its way like salty sea spray over the black paisley pattern of this Hemingway. After years on stage, the vibrant green has faded, and the delicate paisley pattern beneath tentatively re-emerges, bearing witness to an instrument that has lived a full life. Its body, crafted from silkwood – the feather-light wood of the silk tree – carries it with playful ease, whilst the lightly toasted flamed maple neck with an old rosewood fingerboard adds a warm, honey-coloured note to the story.
